Best mechanic ever!!!
Returning from beach trip towing 27' camping trailer when tire pressure sensor indicated loss of pressure in front tire. Had spare but no safe place to get off highway. Google listed Ricks Auromotive as the only nearby auto repair/tire repair shop. Called at 4:30PM. Arrived shortly thereafter. Serviceman found the puncture and attempted a "plug" repair. Puncture was too large for the plug to affective stop the leak so he pulled the tire/wheel from the truck, removed the tire from the wheel, buffed the inside surface, and applied a vulcanizing patch to the puncture on the inside of the tire. He then remounted the tire on the wheel and computer balanced the tire/whee l assembly. This process kept shop open until 5:20. Both the owner and serviceman (owners son, I think) were very pleasant the entire time. I was impressed with the skill demonstrated and the attitude of the staff. Even more impressed by the charges, which were considerable less than I anticipated considering the time of day and amount of work done. Based on my experience with this business, I would recommend them to my friends, should they be in the neighborhood and need similar assistance.
